Are you happy with how your body looks?
Are you getting results?
The way we feel about our bodies and the way we feel about our state of health has a huge impact on our quality of life. Personally, on the days my belly is bloated from foods I shouldn’t have eaten (cheese, alcohol, processed foods), I am aware of the bloated “fat” feeling every minute I am awake. I can still have a great day. It’s just that I am aware of the subtle, negative distraction.
On the days that my tummy feels trim and my body has been fed whole, fresh, clean foods, I feel quite amazing. How you feel about your body on any given day affects your mood and productivity, even if it is a subtle feeling in the background of your day.
Which group of people do you identify with?
Some people know, with confidence, which foods are good for them and which habits they should have to lose fat, get lean, and stay lean. By lean, I don’t mean skinny. By lean, I mean a healthy body composition with a healthy amount of muscle. These people — who know what they should be doing — still may have a tough time being consistent.
Some people don’t know which foods to eat and which habits to have. This group of people may still believe in the myths and misconceptions about dieting that permeate the internet and the casual conversations with friends and family (and the lady in line at the grocery store).
Whether you fall in one group or another, I can help you. If you fall in the latter group — and don’t know if you are buying and eating the right foods — I can help you. You can learn an immense amount of helpful information via my grocery store tours. This is a fun “walking” nutrition consultation where we spend 90 minutes at Trader Joe’s grocery store. I teach how what to look for on the food label (it’s likely not what you’re looking at now) and give you lots of new recipe ideas, amongst much other information.
Do you need help implementing what you already know?
If you fall in the group of people that already know what to do, but aren’t practicing it, I can help you with that, too. I coach individuals in-person, over the phone, and via Skype. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
People who want my help are typically people that have had lots of difficulty for years staying on track. The people who gravitate toward my nutrition coaching are also those that appreciate and respect my own history with weight loss. I have lost over 70 pounds and kept it off. I did it very gradually and never re-gained more than a pound or two here and there. Not only did I lose the weight, but I also found ways to stop emotional eating and stress eating. I learned how to have a healthy relationship with food and eating.
If you think you could benefit from my help, please reach out. We can even talk on the phone for 10-15 minutes if you’d like to get a feel for my style, or clarify anything before you work with me. One-hour sessions are $60. If you need an “eating lifestyle” makeover, we can meet/speak on a regular basis. You can contact me at email@example.com
