I like waking up every morning and making a conscious choice to live differently than the day before.
I eat really well, but I’d love to eat more slowly and deliberately; truly enjoy all my meals. Eating fast isn’t good.
So today I’ll take time and enjoy my meals very slowly. I’ll breathe deeply before my meal starts, and bless my food. I’ll put my fork down between bites. I’ll swallow my food before another bite goes in my mouth. I’ll be 100% present. I’ll sit down and drink my smoothie.
Everything is sacred. My body. My time. My food. Time to honor the sacred more than ever. It’s just another way of living that makes me feel more like my true self.
