When I notice I’m not feeling good, I ask myself this question.
“What do I want to feel in my body right now?”
The answers vary:
Asking yourself this question can be powerful. It can make you realize you’ve been giving energy to how you don’t want to feel, which happens when we keep thinking over and over “I’m tired. I’m tired. I’m tired. I’m tired.” You’re not going to feel more vitality that way.
Next time you’re not feeling good in your body, ask yourself how you want to feel. Then ask yourself what small or big thing you can do to feel more of it today.
When you do this, you realize you don’t have to wait until the far away future to feel good. Feeling good isn’t waiting for you in the future. It’s waiting for you right now.
